New Version of ADapt Available from MediciGlobal

MediciGlobal (Philadelphia and London) has released a new version of ADapt, its Web-based system that customizes patient recruitment materials based on a study's geography. Since being introduced in early 2008, over 235 users have employed the system to translate patient materials, linguistically adapt them, and initiate the IRB submissions process.

"The power of this system is that we're pushing patient recruitment down to the local level and achieving this faster than conventional methods," says Liz Moench, MediciGlobal's President and Chief Executive Officer.
"ADapt brings speed, quality, localization, and local team buy-in, and all this is achieved more cost effectively."

What users can expect from the latest version of ADapt are faster operating times and paperless Ethics/IRB submission and approval tracking. Other enhancements include:

  • Increased project communications between users in the field (CRAs, site staff, translators, recruitment specialists) and study sponsors
  • More detailed tracking of materials in development, by country, language and specific editorial changes right down to each specific document
  • Increased sponsor management of the project's overall development process
  • User activity management to ensure tasks are completed and project timelines are kept on track.
